H. W. "Andy" Anderson
Director of Operations
Wenzel Spine Inc.

As director of operations for Wenzel Spine, Andy Anderson manages the entire supply chain, physical inventory and fixed-assets, and inventory forecasting. During his tenure with Wenzel Spine, Andy implemented Wenzel's quality management system, which achieved ISO 13485 certification in June 2010. In addition, he has developed a supply chain for the VariLift Interbody Fusion System to allow for the implants to be provided as a sterile product both domestically and internationally.

Andy spent over 12 years at Zimmer, Inc. and more than 10 years with Encore Medical (now DJO Surgical) in roles of increasing responsibility in manufacturing engineering and purchasing.

Andy earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis in 1983. In 1992, he received his MBA from Ball State University in Muncie, IN.

David Cabral
Principal
Five Star Manufacturing, Five Star Companies

Five Star Manufacturing is an OEM contract manufacturer of instruments and implants for the orthopedic market. David is also a principal of Five Star Surgical, which is focused on the repair, refurbishment and custom manufacture of surgical instruments. In his previous position with Codman, a Johnson & Johnson Company, David worked as a manufacturing engineer and subsequently in a management role with responsibilities for instrument repair services.

Ronald Clough
Vice President
Integra Spine

Ron joined Integra Spine (formerly Theken Spine), an Integra Life Sciences Company, in 2004 as the vice president of quality/regulatory affairs and operations. He maintains onsite operations for R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory and IT for a diverse group of scientists, engineers and support staff.

Prior to Integra Spine, he led a team of IT professionals as the MIS director for a complex multi-hospital environment in Buffalo, New York. He previously served as the manager of entrepreneurial consulting for Ernst & Young and director of operations for two other companies. Ron has a bachelor of science degree in accounting and business administration from Newberry College in Newberry, South Carolina.

Eric Manojlovic

Zimmer, Inc.

Eric Manojlovic has been in the orthopedic industry for over 18 years. He has been at Zimmer since 2001 and is currently responsible for the purchasing of hip, knee, and extremities instrumentation. With him he brings experience in manufacturing, tool & cutter grinding, tool & die, process engineering and quality.

Tom O'Mara

Tom O'Mara serves on the Corporate Management Team for Autocam Corporation, a global leader in precision-machined components and assemblies for the Healthcare and Transportation industries.

After earning a BS in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and serving in a variety of sales, marketing, and distribution positions at Pepsi Cola Bottling Group, Tom joined Autocam in 1989. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, he led the development and growth of Autocam's customer base beyond the North American Market to Europe, Brazil and Asia. In 2007, he was named Executive Vice President of Autocam's new medical division, focusing on the manufacture of precision implants, instruments, surgical hand-pieces and ultra-precision components for the Medical Device market.

Shawn E. Schafer
Vice President, Sales and Market Development

Shawn E. Schafer has served as the vice president of sales and market development for Oberg Medical (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) since July of 2008. Prior to that, Schafer has served in various senior management roles within Oberg including positions in sales, marketing and program management. Schafer brings over 20 years of precision contract manufacturing experience from the medical device and other relevant industries. Schafer is a 1991 graduate of The Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Marketing.

Judson A. Smith Company

Judson A. Smith Company, one of four US based facilities of the ATW Companies is a manufacturer of orthopedic implants and instrumentation. In addition, Judson A. Smith manufactures small diameter metal tubular components/assemblies for the medical device industry.

John joined the company in 1997. He has responsibility for all sales and marketing activities worldwide.

William Vrabel
Sales Engineer

William Vrabel is a 37 year veteran of the medical device industry, serving the majority of those years in the orthopedic industry. He began his orthopedic career at Zimmer where he worked for 12 years in various engineering and management positions of increasing responsibility. He then accepted a position with DePuy where he served in both engineering management and product marketing roles for 11 years. He also held various director and vice president level positions with several contract manufacturers who serve the orthopaedic industry. Vrabel is currently an account manager/sales engineer for Orchid Orthopedic Solutions where he serves as the primary contact for the orthopedic OEMs in Warsaw, IN.

Bill earned a bachelor of sciences degree from Michigan State University and a master or sciences degree in business administration from the University of Saint Francis.

Rod Wilson
Director, U.S. Procurement
DePuy Orthopedics

In his 18th year at DePuy Orthopedics, Rod Wilson worked his way through a number of operations roles, including manufacturing planning, forecasting, inventory management and logistics, where Wilson successfully implemented sales and operations planning for DePuy. In 2003, Wilson joined procurement to assist in implementing global supply chain processes, including DePuy's preferred supplier program. In his current role as director of U.S. procurement, Wilson emphasizes a strong focus on collaboration, cross-functional partnering and supplier relationship management to drive procurement results. Areas of focus have included divestiture, talent management, strategic sourcing and integration of suppliers into DePuy business processes.

Wilson holds a CPIM (certified in production and inventory management) from the American Production and Inventory Control Society. Wilson earned bachelors degrees in counseling and business administration from Grace College, and a master of business administration from the University of Notre Dame.
